Bollywood actress Lisa Haydon, who shot to fame with House full-3 and Queen, recently married to her boy friend Dino Lalvani, son of a Pakistani born British businessman. After dating him for an year, Lisa married him at a private beach-side wedding event. And guess what pulled her marriage into a controversy by a media channel!
Post her marriage, reports circulated has it that Lisa is married to a Pakistani as Dino’s father Gulu Lalvani is born the neighboring country. It is well-known about how tough Indian organizations are acting over Pakistan and its people after the Surgical Strikes last month. Recently, Pakistani actors like Fawad Khan and others were banned by political parties, national film theaters association and even the Bollywood producers council.
In a bid to counter her detractors and clarify that her father-in-law is not linked to Pakistan, the svelte beauty took to social media and said, “my husband is Indian. My father in law – Gulu Lalvani, was born in pre partition India and was thrown out of what is today…Called Pakistan – to call someone who has gone through the struggles of partition non Indian is absurd. Sad this article are the good wishes you would give a girl on the day she begins a new&exciting chapter in her life.”
Needless to say she has given a fitting reply to all those troller’s and we appreciate her guts for speaking her mind.
The actress who’s lastly seen in a cameo in Ae Dil Hai Mushkil further added, “The world needs lovers not haters.” Lisa has now joined the filming of Rajat Arora’s Baadshaho, alongside Ajay Devgan, Imran Hashmi, Eesha Gupta and Ileana D’cruz.
