Veteran actor & BJP Leader Krishnam Raju is likely to be appointed as the new Governor of Tamil Nadu. If the reports are true by any chance, He would be replacing another BJP Leader Vidyasagar Sagar who is serving as in-charge Tamil Nadu Governor since K Rosaiah’s term ended.
Krishnam Raju’s film career began in the year ‘Chilaka Gorinka’ in the year 1966. He has done around 200 films so far.
In 1998, Krishnam Raju joined BJP. He served as Union Minister in the Vajpayee Government. He held several high-profile posts such as Ministry of External Affairs (MoS), Ministry of Defence (MoS) and Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution (MoS). He quit BJP and joined Praja Rajyam Party in 2009 but resigned within an year. Again, He joined BJP before 2014 Polls and worked sincerely for the party. He is now getting his due in the form of Governor post.
