Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton and Republican candidate Donald Trump are campaigning aggressively to seal a historic presidential victory. Hillary planned to campaign at battleground states Friday trying to woo minorities and women, while Donald Trump traveled to small-town America to fire up the white, working-class voters he insists will bring the crown to his outsider campaign.
According to a new Reuters/Ipsos tracking poll released on Friday, Hillary Clinton leads Republican Donald Trump by 5 points, keeping her advantage in a national survey while races tighten in several swing states.
The Oct. 30-Nov. 3 opinion poll showed that 44 percent of likely voters in Tuesday’s election support Clinton while 39 percent support Trump.
Clinton, despite her national lead, appears to have lost ground in a number of states, according to a separate polling effort that takes a more granular look at the race.
