Prakash Raj, has come up with ‘Mana oori Ramayanam’ after a long gap, with his last directorial Ulavacharu Biryani failed miserably at box office. Lets find out what the movie has in it all.

Bhujangaiah (Prakash Raj) is someone who commands a lot of respect from the people in his native place. After a clash with family members, Bhujangaiah leaves home, gets drunk and wishes to spend the night with a woman. He uses Siva (Satyadev) who is more like his Assistant for this task. Siva hires a prostitute Susheela (Priyamani) and locks her in the shop with Bhujangaiah. Unfortunately, Cops take Siva into custody regarding an issue. How did Bhujangaiah come out of the shop and what change did this incident bring in him forms the rest of the tale.

Prakash Raj has once again proved his mettle in acting, and his facial expressions and acting is the major asset for the movie. Priyamani has come up with an award winning performance. Pruthvi does justice to his role. Satyadev has done a decent job.

Mana oori Ramayanam is technically sound. Music by Ilayaraja is highlight for the film and background score is amazing. Cinematography by Mukesh is very good with nice visuals. Art work is good. Though its a Remake, Prakash Raj left a mark of his own and audience could see his passion for craft here. However, Screenplay could have been more gripping and fast-paced.

TeluguDaily Rating:  2.5 Stars (2.5 / 5)
